Summary:
Provide outstanding customer service to deposit account customers.
Assist branches with any account and digital banking inquiries.
Review, balance, file, and maintain checking, savings, and money market accounts, IRAs and certificates of deposit.
Maintain knowledge of standard concepts, practices and procedures within the department.
Attendance is a vital function of this position.
JOB DUTIES:
Expedite prompt, complete, and accurate service response to requests from customers and other branches.
Provide balance information.
Complete telephone transfers, stop payments, address corrections, and other types of account maintenance.
Review, verify, and balance daily departmental reports.
Review and scan e-banking applications.
Review and scan deposit account signature cards, supporting documents, and any other correspondence.
Receive and process DDA affidavits and reclamations.
Assist with garnishments, subpoenas, and Social Security and Medicaid research.
Perform yearly reporting and mailings for CD/IRAs.
Communicate with customers regarding IRA distributions.
Review enhanced account analysis statements.
Review and balance various GL accounts.
Review and balance Smart Safe internal account.
Prepare for core data system upgrades and releases.
Monitor and route after-hours voicemails.
Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures, including the Bank Secrecy Act.
Backup other functions when necessary.
Attendance is a vital function of this position.
Other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or equivalent required; minimum six months relevant experience preferred.
Must have the ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
Must have the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers and decimals.
Must have the ability to balance team and individual responsibilities.
Must work well in group problem solving situations.
Must exhibit sound judgement and decision making ability.
Must demonstrate professionalism; treat other with respect and consideration; follow through on commitments.
Must produce quality work; demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness; apply feedback to improve performance.
