_Job Purpose:_
To perform advanced engine, hydraulic and electrical repair on mobile equipment.

Responsibilities:_
Perform advanced engine, hydraulic and electrical repair on gas, diesel and propane mobile equipment.
Rebuild engines, transmissions, etc.
Change oil and brake shoes and work on damaged parts.
Provide training and guidance to level I mechanics as a lead position.
Perform routine preventative maintenance functions.
Perform other duties as necessary.
Perform all duties in accordance with safety rules and regulations.
_Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities_
Advanced knowledge of engine, hydraulic and electric repair and rebuilding on gas, diesel and propane equipment.
Advanced knowledge of maintenance functions.
Knowledge of equipment and tools.
Time management, prioritizing, and organizational skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to read and interpret schematics, drawings, and written repair instructions.
Ability to read and understand safety rules and regulations.
Education
High school diploma required.
Experience
8
years' mobile equipment mechanical experience required.
Or any equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities of this position.
Work Environment
Plant environment.
