A Plant Reliability Engineer with knowledge of Maintenance and Reliability systems and process improvement process is needed for a direct hire position located in western Alabama. Bonus potential and relocation assistance available. Close to the beach with great hunting and fishing!
Responsibilities for the Reliability Engineer
Responsible for maximizing/leading efforts to ensure the reliability and maintainability of the assets in the facility including the leading/administering the plants proactive maintenance programs and leading/administering the Root Cause Analysis program to ensure the root cause of failures has been properly determined
Development, refinement, and leadership of the Root Cause analysis program
Analyze equipment histories to identify and address specific repetitive failures
Further development and administration of the downtime tracking program to ensure consistency of tracking throughout the mill
Regularly review downtime reports and equipment histories to identify solutions for reoccurring maintenance problems
Requirements for the Reliability Engineer
Associates' degree in Business, Manufacturing, Engineering, or equivalent with 5
years' industry experience
In-depth knowledge of manufacturing process
In-depth knowledge of Maintenance and Reliability systems and process improvement process
Knowledge of safety, health and environmental rules, laws, requirements and applicable company programs
Knowledge of correct application of systems and processes that ensures continuous improvement (safety, maintenance, quality and manufacturing)
Knowledge of engineering and design principles
